ABS Workforce - Solution Area Specialist (Austria) in the AI Business Solutions Workforce Team as a Sales Specialist focused on Productivity and AI.
Responsibilities
* Engage in conversations with customers aligned to their industry to illustrate how workloads enable digital transformation and turn opportunities into deals.
* Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and services to develop solutions and input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities.
* Identify new partners and discuss customer scenarios; lead conversations and set up events within Microsoft.
* Collaborate with global teams to analyze competitor products/solutions and position Microsoft effectively in customer communications.
* Review feedback, coach others, and establish recovery action plans to improve customer/partner satisfaction.
* Assess and qualify sales opportunities, align with AI-enhanced sales methodologies, and support deal orchestration and handoffs across the lifecycle.
* Drive security-focused sales strategies, translate feedback into recovery plans, and develop relationships with stakeholders to realize customer value.
* Manage sales pipeline, leverage AI tools and data to prioritize strategy, and ensure pipeline hygiene across accounts and opportunities.
* Engage in sales strategy to align plays with customer priorities and outcomes, incorporating AI-driven insights and market intelligence.
* Support cross-organizational solution development for AI- and cloud-driven transformations; act as a trusted advisor guiding technology adoption.
* Identify business opportunities and market gaps using AI-driven intelligence; discuss insights across the team to align with strategic directives.
* Lead discussions with stakeholders to qualify, prioritize, and accelerate sales opportunities; ensure alignment with AI transformation vision and security principles.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field and 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
* Fluent in German and English.
* Additional or preferred qualifications: Master’s Degree (MBA, IT, Security) with 6+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
* 4+ years of solution or services sales experience.
* For Austria Only: Salary starting from EUR 81,700 per annum, depending on experience.
