Organisational Unit
With over 80 employees, our department is the largest in the faculty. This enables us to cover a wide range of areas in teaching and research. Austrian constitutional and administrative law, which is analysed in a pan-European context and from a comparative law perspective, plays a central role in research and teaching. Legal analysis is combined with neighbouring disciplines, in particular political science and administrative sciences. On the basis of this interdisciplinary orientation, the department also makes a significant contribution to the University's focus on South Eastern Europe.
