Skill Check
* Completed technical education
* Experience in research funding, innovation management, or R&D project management
* Knowledge of the Austrian and European funding landscape is desirable (e.g., FFG, AWS, Horizon Europe)
* Experience in establishing and managing international partnerships and consortia
* Understanding of technical product or development processes in industry
* Ability to clearly and precisely present complex technical content in application and report texts
* Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken (additional languages are an advantage)
Challenge Check
* Responsible for the overall process and system management in the field of research funding.
* Development and further advancement of a global funding strategy.
* Identification of suitable national and international funding programs
* Development, preparation, and submission of funding applications, including budget and resource planning.
* Ensuring adherence to group standards for applications, reporting, and compliance
* Supporting all departments with new or revised funding formats, requirements, and guidelines
* Responsibility for project controlling, monitoring, and on‑time reporting
* Optimization of central funding processes
* Management of collaboration with funding agencies (FFG, AWS, EU agencies, international institutions)
