We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.The Postgres Open-Source Community PM team at Microsoft is hiring a Principal Program Manager to navigate the unique (and often complex) intersection of the global Postgres open source community and the Azure Database for PostgreSQL business. This isn't a standard feature PM role. Instead, you will be a key strategist and bridge-builder responsible for driving our community initiatives, from leading POSETTE: An Event for Postgres (our virtual developer event) to managing our global sponsorship presence at Postgres community conferences. You'll need to be equally comfortable talking shop with open-source community members, collaborating with Postgres engineering experts, and navigating internal business cycles to secure funding for our initiatives.
