We are seeking a Strategic Procurement & Pricing Expert to strengthen our procurement team at INNIO. In this key role, you will report directly to the Chief Procurement Officer and operate at the intersection of purchasing, pricing, and strategic market analysis. Your responsibilities will include competitive analysis, pricing intelligence, project management, and direct material procurement — ideally with experience from industry and consulting sectors.
The Direct Material Procurement Team at INNIO manages all sourcing activities to ensure timely delivery of cost-efficient, high-quality materials. As part of our global operations, the team plays a crucial role in exceeding market and customer expectations.

Your Responsibilities
* Analyze price trends, market and competitive data to derive actionable insights for purchasing and sales
* Support strategic procurement decisions with data analysis
* Develop and refine data models to assess supplier, material, and market risks
* Create dashboards, reports, and simulations to manage costs, risks, and margins
* Identify savings opportunities and value engineering approaches
* Collaborate closely with engineering, controlling, and sales teams for comprehensive cost and pricing evaluations
Your Profile
* Degree in business, engineering, industrial engineering, or similar field
* Solid experience in pricing, procurement, project management, and market data analysis
* Hands-on experience in direct material sourcing, preferably in mechanical engineering
* Initial experience in PMO or strategic roles, ideally in industrial energy
* Industry knowledge in energy, mechanical engineering, or related fields
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency with BI tools, large data sets, and KPIs
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and coordinate stakeholders effectively
* Excellent German and English language skills
