For our Technical Communication Team based in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria) we are currently looking for a
Technical Writer – Focus Power System Testing Equipment, 80-100% (f/m/x)
What's it all about?
1. You create and edit user documentation in English for power system testing equipment for internal users and customers
2. You closely collaborate with software/ hardware engineers and product management
3. You analyze documentation requirements for manuals and determine how to help and guide our customers
4. You coordinate and supervise outsourced documentation and translation projects
5. You help continuously improve our processes and terminology
What are we looking for?
6. You have the ability to clearly and concisely describe complex technical matters in English to an experienced target group
7. You have an understanding of terminology and translation-related issues and how they may affect your workflow
8. You have experience using CMS tools such as ST4 (Schema) or FrameMaker
9. You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English a mindset for teamwork, and the desire to learn new tools and technologies
10. You enjoy managing multiple projects with focus on details and quality
11. You have a degree in technical communication, English, linguistics, or translation studies
