Our friendly and collaborative team in St Helens is looking for an Accounts Assistant for an immediate start! You will be helping the team with a variety of tasks to ensure we continue to provide the best possible service to our amazing clients!
Flexible full-time or part-time options (minimum three days per week) available including school hours. The choice is yours!
Your role, your contribution!
* Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable
* Prepare Financial Reports
o Generate periodic reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow summaries.
* Compliance and Record-Keeping
o Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Payroll Processing
* Client Interaction and Support
o Communicate with clients regarding invoices, payments, and account queries.
o Provide clear explanations of financial information and resolve issues promptly.

What you bring to the role
* Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
* Basic understanding of accounting principles
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (e.g. MYOB, Xero, desirable)
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication skills
