Your Tasks
Design, Build and Operate our enterprise network infrastructure and evolve it balancing business needs but also ensure standardization of our environment
Take ownership as internal service provider, subject matter expert and consultant to support our internal customers in and outside of IT on their requests, changes and demands
Act as interface for local IT networking experts, internal stakeholders, and external service partners, facilitating regular knowledge exchange, documentation and collaboration
Grow and leverage knowledge with other IT departments (e.g., Security, Cloud, Datacenter) to further drive governance and process development as well as network standardization
Guide and collaborate with external partners and vendors, ensuring maximum value, performance, and operational efficiency from managed services & technologies
Actively participate in international projects and lead implementation of connectivity work packages in those (e.g. new Sites rollout, M&A Activities)
Your Profile
At least 5 years' experience in a network engineering role with focus of experience on firewall operations as well as Routing (L3), VPN, WLAN and LAN management (L2)
Proven ability to drive technical execution, align solutions with existing architecture and articulate complex technical topics (both verbally and in written documentation) to non-technical stakeholders to ensure understanding
Passion for developing connectivity solutions and standards when working with a complex environment using technologies such as Barracuda, Cisco as well as cloud networking on Azure
Deep expertise and hands‑on experience in managing and troubleshooting enterprise‑scale network environments
Experiences working with ITSM Tools and Knowledge of ITIL Processes given
Experiences with management of WAF (Web Application Firewall) will be a plus
Experiences with production networks and protocols will be a plus
Fluent in English, German skills are a plus but not mandatory
