The International Private University College Bad Vöslau (in foundation) is planning to submit an application for initial institutional accreditation by AQ Austria.
We are seeking to fill the following positions for the planned International Hospitality Management Bachelor’s degree programme:
* Full Professor in International Hospitality Management
* Associate Professor in International Hospitality Management
* Senior Lecturer in International Hospitality Management
* Academic Associate in International Hospitality Management
All positions are available either as part-time (20 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) positions.
Employment is subject to successful institutional accreditation by AQ Austria and completion of a formal appointment procedure (Berufungsverfahren).
The planned start is October 2027.
Employment may commence as early as July/August 2027 to support programme development activities.
Your tasks as a professor:
* Establishment and preparation of the first implementation of the study programme
* Independent realisation of courses and research projects
* Organisation of teaching and research within the degree programme
* Participation in the quality management steering group and responsibility for the implementation of quality assurance measures in teaching and research
* Supervision of scientific theses
* Collaboration and committee work in the development and expansion of the private university college Bad Vöslau
* Communication and networking with the scientific community, the field of practice and the public
Other tasks for academic associates / Senior lecturers!
* Completed relevant university degree (doctorate or comparable)
* Habilitation or equivalent qualification in the respective subject area
* Several years of professional experience and/or teaching experience in the field of Hospitality Management
* Excellent written and spoken English – Level C1 (company language)
* Very good written and spoken German skills desirable
* Experience in the field of communication sciences desirable
* Didactic aptitude and teaching experience in higher education, in particular using current and innovative higher education didactic concepts
* Personal involvement in the relevant national and international scientific community desirable
* Proof of publications or other scientific contributions

The minimum gross salary (full-time, 40 hours/week) for the following positions is as follows. Salary levels apply from 2027. Part-time salaries will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
(Overpayment depending on qualifications and experience is possible.)
* Full Professor from EUR 6,000.00 gross per month
* Associate Professor from EUR 5,000.00 gross per month
* Senior Lecturer from EUR 4,000.00 gross per month
* Academic Associate from EUR 3,800.00 gross per month
Minimum gross salaries, final salary to be adjusted according to qualifications and experience.
