Come join us and help build the AI platform to power safe innovation.About the RoleAs Head of Design at Ketryx, you’ll lead a small, highly motivated team of UI/UX designers and own the design strategy for our platform. You’ll set direction, ship high‑quality designs, interactions, and prototypes, and steer projects from concept to launch.You’ll work end‑to‑end on UI/UX — partnering closely with engineers, product managers, and executive leadership to ensure designs are intuitive, technically sound, and aligned with business goals. You’ll lead the team while staying hands‑on: creating UX flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity visuals yourself. Your work will directly support Ketryx’s mission to help medical device manufacturers bring life‑saving innovations to market faster and more safely.This is a hybrid role requiring at least four days per week on‑site in Vienna or Boston, with regular travel between the two offices.ResponsibilitiesYou’re an experienced UI/UX designer with a deep passion for software and a track record of shipping exceptional user experiences. You’re equally comfortable thinking about design, product, and business ‑ and you’re motivated by the opportunity to improve patient outcomes through better technology. You set the UX vision and work cross‑functionally to turn it into intuitive, user‑centered solutions. You communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken, and you thrive in environments where ideas move fast.You’re a self‑starter who does well in early‑stage startups, balancing team leadership with hands‑on design work. You embrace AI as a core part of how modern products — and modern design teams — are built, and you bring that mindset to your craft.Ideally, you’re based in Vienna or Boston, or ready to relocate quickly.
