Prototyping Technician is responsible for realization of Electrical & Electronical prototype parts for Fuel Cell projects and laboratory's needs.
Role responsibilities include:
1. Manage inventory of EE material for prototypes realization.
2. Manage equipment, identify needs and propose new equipment for prototyping.
3. Create purchase order and follow deliveries.
4. Adapt storage.
5. Analyse the work request and exchange with requestor to clarify the needs.
6. Design prototype and serial cable harnesses (HV&LV) and electronic boards.
7. Define part list to realize prototypes and order parts needed.
8. Realize prototypes: wire harness (LV & HV), electronic boards soldering, mechanical parts.
9. Support supplier quality team for EE component incoming inspection.
10. Check that supplier performance data are aligned with component specifications
11. Check that prototype parts are fitting to drawing.
12. Support EE Laboratory activities (testing of el. LV & HV components and FCM systems).
13. Support validation tests (System build-up, adaptations, analyses).
14. Identify improvements and lessons learned.
15. Investigating and implementing of new trends in EE.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Technician certificate (Electrical and/or electronics) with 5 years' experience
* Advanced technician's certificate (Electrical and/or electronics) with 2 years' experience
* Electrical certification for Austria is a plus
* EMC knowledge and HV <1000 VDC experience is an advantage
* Demonstrated experience in electrical or electronic field in prototyping, production or laboratory
* Experience in machinery industry on electrical or electronical is also accepted
* Demonstrated skills in electrical wiring assembly
* Demonstrated experience in PCB assembly manual soldering
* Experience in wiring harness design
* Experience in electronic board design is a plus
The minimum gross salary acc. to collective labour agreement (EEI) is planned at EUR 3.775,27 per month for fulltime 38,5 hours per week (14x p.a.), with a willingness to pay more for appropriate qualifications and experience.
