Organisation, control and monitoring of all logistics processes in order to guarantee supply of dealers with parts and accessories at the right time, in the right quantity and in the right quality in line with requirements and taking into account the TPS concept with highest possible safety level. Allow the dealer to provide a seamless service to our customer.
Main KPIs
1. Safety KPI‘s (Accident rate, incident reporting, safety patrols, …)
2. Quality KPI’s (Warehouse denials, non-shipped lines, shortages, miss-picks, damages, …)
3. Operational KPI’s (Supply service rate, warehouse efficiency, …)
4. Compliance: ISO14001, SOX, local legislation, …
5. Motivation KPI’s (Attendance, employee survey score, …)
Your responsibilities
Health & Safety
6. Create and foster safety culture: Safety always first, zero tolerance related to safety,
lead by example and ensure Stop-Call-Wait culture
7. Create a zero-risk operations environment through proactive risk management
8. Health & Safety assessments: Daily safety patrols, regular risk related discussion with staff
9. Safety reporting: Local & legal governance reporting, Yokoten safety issues, accident & incident reporting
10. Analyse safety issues, uncover root causes and define countermeasures to avoid re-occurring incidents / accidents
11. Promote and implement best practises
12. Continuous improvement of operation, focussing on ergonomically aspects
13. Maximize separation of men & machine and machine & machine
Quality
14. Deliver ‘best in class’ quality to dealers
15. Ensure high quality standards up to the dealers, including forwarder activities
16. Define root-causes and implement countermeasures to improve quality
17. Foster customer first environment and adjust operation if needed
18. Define quality KPI’s and priorities for kaizen, for example sorting errors, warehouse denials, non-shipped lines, damages, ability factors, productivity indicators;
19. Report & follow up quality results on daily, monthly, yearly base
Operations Management
20. Deliver ‘best in class’ operations by using Toyota Way tools: LDC approach, FMDS,
standardisation, SOP creation and follow-up OJD, QCC;
21. Control and monitoring of all incoming / outgoing goods / transfers / transfers according
to standardized procedures and defined priorities
22. Follow-up operational KPI’s, face challenging targets and assures that objectives are met
23. Planning of resources: Weekly and daily workload, manpower & equipment planning
24. Monitor operational KPI’s (efficiency, equipment, material,
25. Initiation and ensuring the implementation of material flow concepts, internal operation,
transport systems and storage techniques to achieve optimal productivity
26. Gemba management, warehouse process management
27. Create smooth operations through in & outbound flow control & planning (Heijunka)
28. Irregularity management
29. Visualise process, Yamazumi, M&I flow, Standard Operation Procedures
30. Analysis of deviations and initiation of adequate measures in compliance with all internal and external guidelines and laws (. working laws, safety regulations, environmental rules, workplace design).
31. Storage capacity monitoring & irregularity control
32. Translate + communicate local storage issues with depot manager
33. Implement and follow-up local warehouse kaizen plan
34. Encourage, follow up & guidance of depot kaizen activities
HRD & People Management
35. Daily HR Management according to Toyota Way
36. Set up & monitor local versatility/skill matrix & create development plan for all associates to reach multi-skill level
37. Identify development needs warehouse associates
38. Ensure clear and structure Toyota Way competencies appraisal within Warehouse Member
39. Organise/facilitate training plan for office & warehouse in line with defined development needs, facilitate OJD
40. Guide & support during job assessment’s
41. Set up succession planning for warehouse associates
42. Work regulations monitor and follow up
43. Communication: regular team-briefing
44. Responsible for the management of subordinates taking into account the management principles within Toyota, particular the Toyota Way.
45. In collaboration with HR and Depot Manager, agreement and implementation of the necessary personnel measures (. warning letter, hiring
46. Code of Conduct: Ensure TME/depot regulations are followed and implemented.
Cost Management
47. Responsible for the provision of all necessary information arising in his sphere of responsibility to all relevant posts
48. Maintenance and further development of a qualified and substantive reporting system
49. Daily/monthly follow up
50. Plan and implement cost reduction activities
51. Initiate + follow up cost kaizen possibilities in the warehouse
52. Equipment & fleet management

Your Profile
Education: University degree or equivalent
Business education or study
Experience: > 5 years’ experience in logistics and/or shop floor management
(preferably automotive)
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of operational processes and flows
Fluent in communication (local language and English)
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, …)
Other skills: Experience in total responsibility for delivery of daily result in a shop floor environment. Proven track record of people management;
Good understanding of Supply Chain Management and implementation of Lean /. principles in shop floor operations;
Excellent mathematical analytical skills, knowledge of automotive
industries and market
