The Role
As we scale our European presence, we are looking for an experienced Country Manager Austria, responsible for commercial development, partner ecosystem expansion, product launch, and sales execution.
Lone is fully financed and preparing the product launch in early 2027.
2026 is the year where we build the foundation for scalable, long-term success.
The role sits at the intersection of growth, partnership, product and systems and works closely with the founding team.
What you will do
* Own and manage the commercial budget for Austria.
* Lead and execute go-to-market activities for new product launch.
* Coordinate and manage Business Development Activities.
* Identify and grow installer, energy expert, and wholesaler networks.
* Manage partner loyalty programs, trainings (with R&D/Lab. support), commissions, and incentives.
* Coordinate local trade fairs, events, and promotional initiatives.
* Oversee order management and customer forecasts.
* Define market-specific technical requirements and documentation for R&D.
* Cooperate with Corporate Marketing team for the customization of corporate Literature and Brand&Communication activities for Austrian Market.
* Be active part of local Industry (HVAC/Smart Home/Solar) associations, technological panels, lobbying groups.
What we are looking for
* 5–7+ years commercial leadership experience in HVAC, PV, battery storage, or energy tech.
* Strong partner management experience, with focus on Installers and Wholesalers Channels.
* Proven product launch experience.
* You enjoy building from scratch – structures, processes and playbooks – not just optimizing what already exists.
* Data-driven, pragmatic and comfortable with fast iteration.
* Fluent in German (Native) and English. Italian is a plus.
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment.
