Join BRP and help shape the future of our propulsion systems As a Prototype Buyer (m/f/d) for Direct Material, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing components used in our engines within your assigned R&D scope. Through strong negotiation skills, market understanding, and supplier management, you will play a key role in strengthening BRP-Rotax's innovation and global competitiveness.
Your responsibilities
Purchasing of direct materials within the assigned R&D responsibility area
Maintenance of system and master data in the operating system
Execution of the request-for-quotation and offer process
Selection, management, and development of suppliers
Independent price negotiations for tools and components
Analysis of new procurement markets and technologies
Conducting benchmark analyses
Close collaboration with internal departments such as Engineering, Quality, and Logistics
Your profile
Commercial or technical education or University of Applied Sciences degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in procurement
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive with a structured way of working
Excellent intercultural communication skills and commitment to high performance
Good command of English (written and spoken), German is an advantage

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.962,3 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
