Responsibilities
* Own backend development of transactional and mobile banking services from concept to implementation
* Manage operational support, monitoring, and optimization of systems
* Investigate customer queries at the 3rd level
* Develop APIs aligned with our API strategy and roadmap
* Collaborate with DevOps for application deployment
* Create technical concepts for new APIs
* Work closely with Analysts and QA teams
* Drive continuous quality and technical improvements
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years professional Java experience
* At least 2 years in Spring Boot / Microservices development
* Strong knowledge of Java and Microservices
* Experience with REST API design and development
* Independent yet team-oriented work style
* Proficiency with Java 8+, Microservices, Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, GIT, Spring Boot
About You
* Formal education in software development or proven self-taught experience
* Solid Java and object-oriented programming foundation
* Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
* Proactive and quick to address production issues
* Good English skills (B2-C1), German skills beneficial
