Job Responsibilities
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in accounting by validating critical transactions
• Coordinate monthly closing and validate reports in Hyperion
• Prepare and manage statutory financial reports, VAT returns and tax audits
• Review account reconciliations and ensure internal controls
• Maintain SOX and FCPA compliance, manage audits
• Coordinate annual inventory count
• Serve as a point of contact for accounting and tax queries
Job Requirements
• Master/Bachelor degree in Business or Accounting
• 5-10 years of experience as chief accountant in general accounting
• Knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Austrian accounting principles and tax laws
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; Hyperion beneficial
• Fluent in English and German
• Beneficial: International tax and transfer pricing experience, controlling and project accounting in automation experience
