MEP Construction Manager - Austria, Vienna - 10 Month Initial Contract

Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for the construction management of industrial high-tech projects
* Taking overall responsibility for the timely, high-quality, and cost-effective execution of the entire scope of the project
* Providing support to our customers before, during and after the construction phase and participating in acquisition and contract negotiations
* Directing and leading all project participants and coordinating between customers, planners, executing firms, and authorities
* Scheduling and monitoring construction progress
* Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations
* Conducting site inspections and inspections for acceptance
* Recording defects and tracking defect resolution progress
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in construction supervision of large-scale projects, as well as experience in leading project teams and subcontractors
* Experience in industrial or plant construction, particularly within the data center industry is preferred, but not required
* Excellent knowledge of building codes, local regulations and standards
* Intercultural competence, teamwork, and leadership skills
* Excellent English skills, German skills are an advantage
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in construction (e.g., master's or technician qualification), or a completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, building services engineering, environmental engineering, or a comparable qualification
* Experience in construction management
* Good knowledge of building codes, local regulations and standards
* Intercultural competence, team spirit and ability to work independently
* Proficiency in German and English
