The Role
An established international general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex technical facilities projects across Austria, based from their Kronstorf operations.
You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects within the data centre, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors, managing programmes from pre-construction through to handover, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and specialist subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Full project lifecycle management from design coordination through construction and commissioning
* Programme, cost, quality, and risk management in line with contractual requirements
* Management of subcontractors and specialist trade packages
* Client liaison and reporting, acting as the main point of contact on site
* Coordination with design teams, engineers, and commercial teams
* Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met at all times
* Driving programme certainty and cost control on technically complex projects
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering technical or mission-critical projects
* Background working for a general contractor or main contractor
* Experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or high-tech facilities
* Strong understanding of MEP-led construction environments
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of projects
* Fluent English required (German advantageous but not essential)
