Your Responsibilities
* Develop segment strategies in close collaboration with Sales, Service, Product Groups, and R&D, ensuring a deep understanding of customer and dealer needs
* Drive market entry of innovative product, generating market needs, identifying test customers, and creating strong market pull
* Build deep industrial segment knowledge —particularly within global megatrend and renewable sectors and develop tailored offering packages for products and services
* Train and enable the sales organization on segment‑specific requirements to ensure successful go‑to‑market execution
* Track and steer must‑win initiatives defined by the management team, ensuring clear performance visibility and progress
Your Qualifications
* Experience in business development, preferably within marine, offshore, or related industrial sectors, with strong analytical and strategic capabilities
* Solid understanding of marine industry customer segments, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends such as renewables
* Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, enabling effective collaboration across global and regional teams
* Hands‑on, independent working style combined with the ability to translate strategy into executable projects and business cases
* Fluent English and a high willingness to travel globally

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market‑conforming overpayment.
