The Role
As Area Coach, you are the primary leader across your allocated stores. You're trusted to carry the culture, coach in real time, and take accountability for what happens in your patch — whether you're there or not.
You develop your team to deliver confidently in your absence, across every store, every day of the week. You're the person who steps in, lifts the team, and makes the Piccolina experience consistent and genuine.
This role requires working regular nights, weekends and public holidays. Frontline presence during peak trade is essential.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Culture & Brand Standards
- Be the culture carrier - model Piccolina's values in every shift and every interaction
- Drive consistent delivery of the Piccolina experience and brand standards across your stores
- Manage customer experience and feedback - escalate complex issues to your Area Manager
People, Training & Development
- Coach and develop your team every shift — from hands‑on service and product knowledge to building your teams’ confidence to deliver independently
- Own onboarding for all new team members; identify high‑potential people and flag development opportunities
- Foster a high-performance, high-energy culture focused on growth and delivering the Piccolina experience
- Collaborate with Area Manager ensuring proactive people planning to maintain required team coverage, leadership pipeline and competency
Operations & Commercial Ownership
- Oversee day to day operations, checklists, shift coverage and communication for your allocated stores
- Manage shift‑level sales, labour costs, waste, ordering and stock across your patch
- Ensure compliance with laws, legislation and the award
- Deliver pre‑opening training for new store openings
- Provide operational support during pre‑ and post‑opening of new locations in your area
- Support strategic projects and operational improvement tasks as required
