We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team in Austria. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our fleet, particularly buses equipped with alternative drive systems and advanced technologies.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct independent maintenance, repair, and testing of vehicles, with a focus on buses featuring alternative drive systems and cutting‑edge technologies.
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during workshop operations and testing procedures.
* Identify and procure necessary materials, tools, and equipment; support administrative tasks including inventory management and documentation.
Requirements
* Completed technical apprenticeship in Automotive Technician, Body Shop Technician, System Electronics Technician, or a related field.
* Validation or certificate of equivalence required for qualifications obtained outside Austria.
* Master craftsman certification may be required based on operational needs.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in vehicle maintenance or repair.
* Fluency in written and spoken German at B2 level (CEFR).
* Valid EU driver’s license (C/D) with appropriate training and certification.
* Proven expertise in bus technology, alternative drive systems, and emerging innovations in the bus sector.
* FS C or D license required for test and towing drives.
