We are looking for a MECHANICAL SITE SUPERVISOR in the field of: International plant construction (pulp and paper industry).
YOUR TASKS
* Supervise and control the work so that work is done according to technical specifications and time schedule as well required quality is met.
* Planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress against targets.
* Devising work schedules and implementing the works to meet deadlines and key milestones.
* Supporting Site Managers with planning works to ensure their task do not conflict with other works.
* Conducting regular worksite inspections to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards and ensure relevant standards are adhered to.
* Advise and supervise directly employed staff and subcontractors.
* Advise customers in installation matters.
* Managing of deliveries or goods and materials required for the works.
* Prepare site reports.
* Attend site management meetings.
Basic PROFILE
* Completed technical education (Apprenticeship as metal worker or graduate of a higher technical college)
* Good knowledge of spoken and written English
* High level of motivation and initiative
* High flexibiliy
* Very willing to travel all over the world as well cultural understanding
* Ability to work in a team, assertiveness, communication skills and reliability.
* Knowledge of MS Office 365 and basic application skills in MS Project
* Basic knowledge of contract and claim management.
* Driving license
specific PROFILE
* Min. 3 years of professional site supervision experience in the field of international plant construction sites (preferably in the pulp and paper industry).
* Additional training/education of:
o Basic knowledge of welding

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 2.950,00 for this position. Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
