We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to design and develop piping systems and plant layouts for industrial projects, ensuring compliance, cost‑effectiveness, and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop piping systems and plant layouts using 3D modelling software.
* Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations, including ASME, API, and ASTM.
* Develop and review design drawings, specifications, and material requirements.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
* Conduct site visits to assess design feasibility and address construction issues.
* Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and expertise.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping and systems design, preferably in an industrial environment.
* Good knowledge of ASME, API and ASTM standards and regulations.
* Experience with 3D modelling software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Due to legal reasons, the minimum salary for this position is €70,000 gross per year based on full‑time employment. The final salary is based on the individual’s qualifications and professional experience.
