I am currently looking for a Freelance Application Operations Specialist (m/f/d) for one of my client located in Vienna, AUSTRIA.
Project Details
Start: January-February 2026
Duration: First contract 18 months - high chance of extension
Workplace: Vienna, Austria (Hybrid - at least 1 day/week on-site, 2 days/week preferred)
Project languages: Fluent German required
Budget: 45 EUR/H
Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Operations Specialist to support our client in managing and maintaining critical applications throughout their entire lifecycle. This is a long‑term engagement offering stability and involvement in strategic ICT initiatives.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience in application operations
* Strong technical expertise and analytical skills
* Excellent communication abilities
* Nice‑to‑have: Experience with QMATIS or similar document management systems
* Nice‑to‑have: Background in healthcare
Responsibilities
* Take full responsibility for an application across its lifecycle
* Analyze and resolve issues or create detailed error descriptions
* Provide user support and respond to inquiries
* Act as an information hub for application support and prepare customer communications
* Maintain entries in CMDB/Remedy and HASI
* Contribute to resource and financial planning
* Provide solution consulting, effort estimations, and offers
* Coordinate changes and manage external service providers
* Execute work packages for ICT projects
