Job Description
In this position you are responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the engineering and application teams within the R&D organization. You ensure the successful transition from prototype to product, validation and debugging of the final application and industrialization of innovative, high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and support the company's business objectives.
* Overseeing the entire New Product Introduction (NPI) process from concept to production
* Fostering a culture of technical excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to achieve time-to-market and cost targets
* Leading multi-disciplinary engineering projects ensuring alignment across teams
* Owning the transition of prototypes onto alpha tools and manage their seamless handover into production in line with customer requirements
* Preparing and delivering comprehensive R&D documentation to operations
* Ensuring efficient knowledge transfer and production readiness
* Managing and operate demo tools while conducting demo experiments to validate technical performance
* Providing 3rd Level support by leading root cause analysis, debugging complex issues, and implementing effective solutions
Qualifications
* Master's degree or PhD in a relevant technical field (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering)
* Experience in high-tech or R&D industries such as semiconductors, robotics, automotive, or instrumentation
* Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition, assembly & test)
* Experience with global supply chain interaction for engineering desirable
* Understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
* Track record of leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams (e.g., mechanical, electrical, process, software) in a high-tech environment
* Experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects with tight time-to-market constraints
* Hands-on experience in root cause analysis, debugging, and yield improvement methodologies
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across global teams

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 90.000,- EUR (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
