Internship - Controlling (12 months) (w/m/d)
As a Controlling Intern, you will support the finance team in key controlling and planning activities over a 12-month internship and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment You will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, variance analyses, and management reporting, as well as monthly closing activities.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as production, management, and accounting, support project and CAPEX controlling, and contribute to the further development and digitalization of controlling processes. This role offers valuable insights into modern controlling practices, including SAP-based processes, BI tools, and internal control systems (ICS).
Job Responsibilities:
1. Support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and mid-term planning
2. Conduct variance analyses (target vs. actual) and derive corrective actions
3. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, ad-hoc analyses, and management reports
4. Perform monthly closings
5. Cost center analysis and planning
6. Close cooperation with departments such as management production and accounting
7. Project controlling in cross-functional projects
8. Support in CAPEX activities
9. Responsibility for executing and documenting ICS controls
10. Contribute to the development of controlling processes
11. Active participation in improvement and digitalization projects, including economic evaluation
Qualifications:
12. Completed bachelor degree in business administration with a focus on finance, controlling or a comparable qualification, currently in final Master studies
13. Passion for digitalization and automation of business processes
14. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
15. Experience with SAP (ERP system) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is desirable
16. Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach
17. Responsible, entrepreneurial thinking and acting
18. Strong team spirit and communication skills
19. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is € 40,910.24 gross per year, based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week). There is a willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and professional experience. The actual annual target income will be determined in line with the market and individual experience.
