Do you want to be part of the legal team as an in-house lawyer and support the different business units of Red Bull in the interesting and fast developing area of (digital) media with a strong focus on media regulatory issues on a global scale?
In this exciting role, you'll set up and advise on various legal projects, collaborating with other legal team members to support different business units within the field of media regulation, e.g., for Red Bull TV and our digital platforms such as websites and apps. Additionally, you'll negotiate contracts focusing on civil law, copyright law, and telecommunication services law.
Responsibilities
Do you want to be part of the legal team as an in-house lawyer and support the different business units of Red Bull in the interesting and fast developing area of (digital) media with a strong focus on media regulatory issues on a global scale?
In this role, you'll establish and advise on legal projects, working closely with team members to support media regulatory initiatives, including for Red Bull TV and digital platforms. You'll also negotiate contracts emphasizing civil law, copyright law, and telecommunication law.
Areas that play to your strengths
All responsibilities entrusted to you include:
* Being part of a legal centre of excellence, gaining in-depth insight into media regulatory projects across the firm, advising on audiovisual media regulation, advertising, product placement, minors protection, accessibility law, e-commerce law, etc. Drafting legal guidelines and risk assessments, collaborating with other business units on projects.
* Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements related to digital business models and international telecommunications partnerships. Assessing legal and commercial risks, providing pragmatic solutions to support global growth.
* Drafting and reviewing legal guidelines, presentations, contractual templates, T&Cs, and other legal documents. Supporting the implementation of legal processes to ensure compliance with new legal developments and trends in media regulation.
Minimum Requirements
* Law degree: European law degree; if German law degree, I. and II. State Exam (“Volljurist”), Post-graduate degree (e.g., LL.M) is advantageous
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in media law and related legal areas such as telecommunications, digital laws, e-commerce, accessibility law.
* Profound knowledge of civil law and strong legal analytical skills.
* Interest and ability to analyze legal developments, coordinate legal projects, and work proactively with a solution-oriented attitude.
* Independent, well-structured, and precise working style, highly motivated and resilient character.
