About the Role
Logistic Manager Alpine is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end warehousing and distribution supply chain operations to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods.
This role ensures that products are stored, transported, and delivered in alignment with business objectives, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. The Logistics Manager plays a key role in coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and service providers to maintain high service levels, reduce operational risks, and drive continuous improvement across logistics processes.
Logistic Manager serves also as a back-up of the Head of Supply chain Alpine.
Key Responsibilities
· Operational and performance management of external warehouses (3PLs) in Austria and Switzerland, including service quality, inventory accuracy, and day-to-day logistics execution.
· Serve as the main interface between our organization and the 3PL partners, building strong working relationships and ensuring contract compliance.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cooperation with the 3PL (e.g., stock accuracy, process automation). With the support of IT oversee EDI-interface execution.
· Support periodic stock counts and inventory audits, ensuring accuracy and process compliance.
· Actively track and manage logistics KPIs, such as delivery performance, warehouse lead times, inventory discrepancies, and service levels.
· Create and maintain internal logistics-related reporting requirements.
· Lead weekly and monthly performance reviews with 3PLs.
· Participate directly in key processes, especially in inbound logistics (goods receipt, ERP posting, documentation), when required.
· Maintain and improve master data relevant to logistics, product attributes and material flows in the ERP system.
· Oversee relationship with customer service team order processing, support the team in problem solving activities.
· Ensure adherence to GDP, GMP, and local regulations, supporting audits and quality investigations.
· Identify risks, implement contingency plans, and ensure supply chain resilience.
· Align with Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, and Quality teams to support business priorities.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· At least 5 years in supply chain management and logistics; experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be a plus.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and experience in ERP or planning systems. Experience with PowerBi considered a strong advantage.
· APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or PMP is a plus.
· Fluency in German and English.
· Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative independently.
· High level of self-direction and autonomy in daily tasks.
· Open mindset, excellent communication and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as in the team.

The minimum base salary for this role is 53,600 EUR per annum including the 14th salary. Depending on the skills and qualifications we are ready to potentially offer a higher one.
