Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our thriving technical community and growing business in Austria. You will be part of the Austrian Cross Industry Enterprise team at our Vienna office. As a senior member of our team, you\'ll work to bring cloud computing technologies to large enterprise customers across verticals including manufacturing, media & entertainment, betting & gaming, retail and more.
Key responsibilities
* Own the technical relationship with customers, providing expert recommendations on solution design, migration strategies, security, and best-practice architectures.
* Serve as an internal advocate, driving continuous improvements to the AWS platform based on customer needs and feedback.
* Contribute to the AWS knowledge base by creating and sharing best practices, technical content, new reference architectures and re-usable artifacts (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).
* Educate and evangelize about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences to expand reach and influence.
* Demonstrate leadership with a business acumen and builder mindset, moving fast, experimenting, and driving innovation in emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Agentic AI.

About The Team: AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. This team focuses on understanding each customer\'s challenges and delivering tailored solutions that accelerate success.
Qualifications
* Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of hands-on experience in technology domains such as Cloud Architecture, Solution Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Machine Learning or Data Engineering & Analytics; experience engaging with both Business and IT decision makers, including C-Level stakeholders driving strategic initiatives; industry experience at Enterprise companies or at a Consulting company; excellent verbal and written communication skills, with business-fluent English.
* Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS technologies and cloud-native architectures; experience migrating or transforming large-scale, complex legacy customer solutions to the cloud; experience in the Manufacturing Industry; experience implementing Generative AI in an enterprise context; cloud technology certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certifications; business-level German language competency (C1+) is a strong plus.
