Your Responsibilities
* Research with focus on international Economics
* Writing a dissertation
* Teaching in the area of Economics, particularly international Economics
* Active engagement in academic life at the department of economics
* Collaborating in organizational and administrative tasks
* Collaboration on a research project on the diversification of the Austrian labor market
Your Profile
* University degree in Economics at the Master level with excellent grades
* Some focus on international Economics (Real Trade or International Macroeconomics)
* Initiative and willingness to participate in third-party funded, inter-disciplinary research projects
* Basic knowledge of data mining methods, experience in natural language processing (desirable)
* Excellent command of spoken and written English
* Econometric knowledge, familiarity with econometric software (e.g. R, STATA, Mathematica), commitment to empirical work
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work in teams and a high level of motivation
* Didactic aptitude for independent teaching (desirable)

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.007,20 for a full-time position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
