What you will do – A glimpse into your role:As a Sales Executive - Payments (Solutions Specialist), you will be the face of Global Blue by Shift4 in your territory. You’ll build long-term partnerships with local merchants, help them modernize their payment infrastructure, and grow your own portfolio of clients.This is a field-based role with a high degree of autonomy — ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building trust, and seeing direct results from their work.Your responsibilities includeProactively identify and approach new merchants in your territory (Innsbruck or Salzburg)Present Global Blue by Shift4’s payment terminals and services in face-to-face meetingsClose new deals and onboard merchants onto our platformSupport existing clients with additional services (hardware, software, professional services)Act as a trusted partner by understanding merchants’ needs and challengesClearly communicate the value of our end-to-end payment solutionsIdentify cross-sell and up-sell opportunitiesUnderstand merchant statements and tailor the best commercial solutionMaintain accurate CRM records and pipeline managementCollaborate closely with your manager and internal teamsContinuously build product and market knowledgeWhat success looks like (KPIs)Number of quality leads and outreach activitiesNew merchants signed in your territoryAchievement of monthly & quarterly sales targetsClient retention and satisfactionCRM accuracy and pipeline hygieneProfessional representation of the Global Blue by Shift4 brandEvery action has an impact – You will make a difference here if you have:A self-driven “hunter” mentality and strong motivation to succeedConfidence in building trust and long-term client relationshipsA resilient, proactive, and solution-oriented mindsetStrong organizational skills and comfort managing your own territoryA professional, reliable, and values-driven approachDiscretion and trustworthiness when handling sensitive informationKey competencies and qualifications. You’ll drive success if you bring:Completed secondary education (minimum requirement)Proven experience in outside/field sales (e.g., door-to-door, territory sales), ideally in payments, financial services, telecom, or techA track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience working with CRM systemsStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsConfidence using laptops, smartphones, and digital toolsA valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your territoryLanguages: Fluent Czech and English (native or professional).
