Julius Meinl is a 5th-generation family business and one of the world’s oldest and most iconic coffee brands. Around 160 years ago, Julius Meinl revolutionized the coffee industry by inventing the modern roasting process – a breakthrough that gives our coffee its unmistakable taste. With our roots in Vienna, where we continue to roast today, we are proud ambassadors of Viennese coffeehouse culture. Over the decades, we have grown into a global premium brand, expanding to over 70 countries and establishing a state-of-the-art roasting plant in Italy. While grounded in tradition, we embrace the modern business expertise needed to drive international success. Julius Meinl thinks in generations. A strong team, guided by shared values and high-quality standards, forms the foundation of everything we do – from sustainability to innovation and global expansion. And with Vienna repeatedly ranked one of the world’s most liveable cities, our brand continues to connect people – in coffeehouses, homes, and offices – all around the world.
