Manager Virtual Engineering (f/m/d) The Architecture and Virtual Engineering team defines and governs the system architecture for PALFINGER Loader Cranes. We bridge the gap between conceptual system engineering and practical product development to enable component reuse, reduce development time and drive digital methods for future crane generations. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Drive the transition to a fully model based and virtual engineering environment for Loader Cranes * Develop and validate innovative crane functions through simulation and virtual testing * Define and implement MBSE/MBD methods, tools, and standards * Setup and lead international virtualization teams and projects, strengthen the global development network * Establish knowledge management and KPI tracking YOUR QUALIFICATIONS * Technical or scientific Master's degree with subject relevance to modelling / simulation of technical systems and Proven experience in model based virtualization and system simulation, ideally in mobile machinery or commercialvehicles * Advanced know how in MATLAB/Simulink,Simscape or comparable tools * Solid technical understanding across mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and software domains * Strong analytical, communicative and leadership skills * Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage WHAT WE OFFER * Flexible working hours with no core time and possibility to work from home * Further training and international career opportunities * Corporate health management "PALfit" * Company restaurant with freshly prepared meals and daily meal subsidy * Job ticket for travel to and from PALFINGER * Numerous employee discounts through Corporate Benefits Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 60.962,30 based on full-time employment.
