In this position, you will play a key role in delivering economic analysis to both internal and external clients. Your mission at RBI:
* Be a vital part of the entire life cycle of data-driven economics analysis projects
* Gather economic and financial data from diverse sources
* Apply transformations and utilize data to provide insights by developing or improving statistical models
* Perform scenario analysis, shock simulations, and model climate risks for macroeconomic variables
* Collaborate with colleagues from NWUs and other departments
* Organize alignment meetings and take a key role in presenting model results to various stakeholders
Your core competencies:
* Successfully completed studies equipping you with a solid quantitative skill set in areas such as Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics or Finance
* Proficient understanding of economic principles and data
* Coding skills in either R or Python
* Interest in macro and financial markets forecasting
* Eagerness to pursue further training for professional development
Nice to Have:
* Proficiency in German
* Familiarity with capital market applications, including Bloomberg and LSEG
* Understanding of monetary policy, interest rate markets, and exchange rates
