Mission
* Develop custom applications, modules and functions to meet specific customer requirements and identify and optimize existing solutions to increase efficiency
* Apply programming languages, especially JavaScript, to develop scripts, business rules, client scripts and UI policies
* Use middleware and integration solutions to ensure seamless communication between different systems and implement user feedback into development work
* Create user‑friendly interfaces and implement responsive designs for a positive user experience across devices
* Identify and fix technical issues within the ServiceNow applications and comply with best practices and standards to ensure maintainability and scalability of the solutions
* Collaborate with project teams, document developed solutions and train new team members while continuously staying up to date with new ServiceNow features and technologies
Skills
* Essential: Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM) and data models with basic SQL knowledge for data analysis
* Desired: Master ServiceNow development tools (Studio, Scoped Applications, Update Sets) and strong JavaScript knowledge, including scripting concepts such as Scripted REST APIs, business rules, and client scripts
* Experience with the implementation and use of REST and SOAP APIs and knowledge of integration solutions for data exchange between ServiceNow and other systems
* Understanding of UI principles and user experience, with experience in customizing forms, lists, and dashboards
* Ability to debug scripts, conduct unit and integration testing, create and maintain technical documentation, apply agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and commitment to continuous learning in new ServiceNow features
* As an experienced consultant and structured team player with high initiative, you possess excellent communication skills and fluent German and English
