Join our Turbo Generator team in Weiz as a Technical Proposal & Sales Engineer (f/m/d) and support international service projects with your technical and commercial expertise.
YOUR PROFILE
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
* Knowledge of rotating equipment (esp. synchronous generators) is a plus
* Strong commercial and technical skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Team player with a collaborative approach
* Fluency in English (spoken & written) and solid German skills
* Open mindset, effective with different cultures
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail
* Highly motivated, ambitious, eager to grow
* Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and ERP (SAP preferred)
* Willing to travel internationally up to 20–30% post-onboarding
YOUR TASKS
* Develop technical and commercial offers for service projects (overhauls, upgrades, LTSAs)
* Define scope of work based on customer needs and equipment condition
* Lead the full tendering process: from cost calculation to proposal submission
* Present and negotiate solutions with international clients
* Collaborate with engineering, field service, procurement, and workshop teams
* Maintain proposal tools, pricing databases, and templates
* Analyze market trends and contribute to strategic planning
* Support project handovers and long-term service agreements

We state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position as gross €3,665.31 per month, but offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and experience.
