Your main tasks and responsibilities
1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of scientists and laboratory technicians, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
2. Provide scientific and technical guidance to ensure robust experimental design, sound data interpretation and high scientific standards
3. Ensure efficient planning, coordination and continuous improvement of laboratory operations and team-related processes
4. Oversee and maintain external scientific collaborations with academic institutions, research partners, and strategic stakeholders
5. Ensure that project documentation, reports and scientific outputs are delivered in a timely manner and meet high quality standards
6. Promote a culture of innovation, scientific excellence as well as continuous improvement within the team
7. Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting and resource allocation for the team
Your expertise and ideal skill set
8. Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
9. Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, ideally within R&D, innovation or product evaluation
10. Strong scientific expertise in plasma-derived products, protein biochemistry, analytical characterization and/or formulation sciences
11. Experience in designing, supervising and critically evaluating experimental studies
12. Solid understanding of GxP principles, laboratory standards and regulatory requirements
13. Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and develop scientific teams
14. Strong analytical and strategic thinking
15. Excellent organizational and communication abilities with a structured and proactive working style
16. Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

You can find all offers here: The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 5.598,85 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
