Head of Work Preparation & Technical Documentation (f/m/d)
Your Role & Responsibilities
Ready to move beyond managing processes and start shaping them? In this key leadership role, you will take ownership of work preparation and technical documentation, ensuring efficient, structured, and future-ready production processes.
You create the foundation for smooth and reliable manufacturing—today and in the future.
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
The work model for the role is onsite with 10 home office days a month.
* Lead and develop the work preparation and technical documentation teams
* Create, maintain, and continuously improve work plans and work instructions across the product lifecycle
* Drive process standardization and support new product introductions
* Contribute to digitalization and automation initiatives

What it takes to Run what runs the world
* Degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering) or equivalent qualification
* Several years of experience in work preparation, ideally with leadership responsibility
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, work planning, and technical documentation
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and common planning tools
* Solid understanding of Lean Management, continuous improvement (CIP), and process optimization
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive change
* Fluent German skills (mandatory) and good English skills
* Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on and solution‑oriented approach

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is €66,676.26 gross per year for a full-time position as of May 2025. We would be happy to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience.
