About the role:
We seek an energetic Account Manager for the DACH region to join our team and drive our business growth and strengthen relationships with retail partners.
This is a great opportunity to work in an innovative environment where you can influence Horseware Ireland's market expansion.
Travel throughout the DACH region is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve strong year-on-year growth and meet quarterly account and regional targets.
* Develop long-term joint business plans with strategic accounts to scale their business.
* Maximize growth across smaller accounts.
* Report regularly on progress and revenue goals.
* Identify and close additional sales opportunities within existing accounts.
* Work with the Regional Sales Manager and team to identify high-potential accounts.
* Collaborate on regional journey plans, call schedules, and customer segmentation, updating weekly.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
* Conduct industry research and analysis.
* Analyze sales data and work with marketing and sales teams on outreach strategies.
* Implement and monitor compliance with Horseware's planogram, taking corrective actions as needed.
About you:
* Experience in account management, sales, or retail with quarterly targets.
* Experience supporting retailers in B2B sales.
* Proven success in achieving sales metrics.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate across departments.
* Experience in research, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling.
* Understanding customer needs and proactively addressing them.
* Fluent in German and English.
* Full EU driver's license required.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Willingness to travel 50%, including to company events at our headquarters in Ireland.
