Cromwell Property Group is an ASX‑listed real estate investment platform with approximately $4.2bn in assets under management and a growing ANZ footprint. The organisation is entering a new phase of growth and capital deployment across its investment platform. The legal team is embedded within the business and plays a key role in enabling that strategy.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CLCO, this Senior Legal Counsel role offers breadth, autonomy and visibility rarely seen at this level. It is a broad funds and corporate role combining transactional work, governance and strategic legal support to the investment team. Working closely with the CLCO, you will operate as a trusted adviser to the Executive team, supporting decision‑making and helping drive transactions forward.
Responsibilities
* Supporting capital activity
* Advising on fund structures and fund establishment
* Corporate actions, restructures and equity transactions
* Coordinating ASX disclosures and market announcements
* Advising senior stakeholders on legal risk
* Managing transactions and coordinating external counsel

About You
You are a senior funds/corporate lawyer that enjoys working closely with the business and using your legal skills in a practical way.
Qualifications
* ~15 PQE
* Strong funds management and deal experience
* Experience with complex structures and capital transactions
* Exposure to listed environments, disclosure obligations and governance frameworks
