What are your challenges in our team?
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join a truly global organization and rapidly develop your career within a multinational and dynamic environment.
Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and Review of Departmental P&Ls, quarterly & annual financial statements, and annual budgets.
2. Liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information, tax computations.
3. Oversee the day to day Accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Credit, GL, Capital Expenditure, Payroll, VAT, Treasury, Revenue Recognition and Cost Accounting.
4. Prepare timely internal monthly accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, and Analysis) for review by the Regional and Global Accounting teams.
5. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities and drive initiatives to promote efficient and cost effective operations.
6. Provide financial and accounting expertise and support for the regional business operations management teams (budgets etc.).
7. Proactively communicate with his/her team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.
8. Management of the accounting team.
Qualifikationen
What do you bring to this challenge?
9. Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related
10. MUST HAVE: 8+ years of Accounting & Finance experience, incl. at least 3 years in Austria
11. High level of Austrian tax and regulatory knowledge
12. Experience in compliance and internal controls.
13. Comprehensive accounting expertise, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), accounts reconciliation and month-end closing
14. UGB, IFRS & preferably US GAAP experience .
15. Advanced in Microsoft Office, including Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables.
16. Proven leadership attitude and skills.
17. MUST HAVE: GERMAN & English at minimum C1
