Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role :
Drive technology development for trapped-ion quantum processors, with focus scaling towards very large chips
Co-develop the next generations of QPUs with our commercial partners
Enable the research community through projects with academic partners
Supervise master and PhD students
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed :
Have a PhD in physics, quantum engineering, computational physics or similar
Bring more than five years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quantum optics, and / or (trapped-ion) quantum computing
Be a highly motivated individual who wants quantum computing to become a reality
Be fluent in English, German skills or the willingness to learn is a plus
The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https : / / www.feei.at / wp-content / uploads / 2024 / 04 / minimum-wages-blue-collar-workers-2025.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
