What you’ll do
Support manual testing of firmware to identify regressions on Spectacles devices.
Test mobile applications on iOS and Android, reporting critical information for triage.
Monitor and triage reported bugs from Jira and crash report tooling.
Design, develop, and maintain innovative testing approaches to ensure high performance and reliability before release.
Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans.
Collaborate closely with QA, developers, designers, and program managers to resolve issues efficiently.
Organize and run test sessions in Vienna with the local team.
Identify areas for process and product improvement, providing recommendations and driving quality initiatives.
Continuously improve test coverage and stability through exploratory testing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong debugging, tracing, and bisecting skills.
Hardware testing experience in consumer products or mobile devices.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
Team player with customer‑focused orientation.
Proven track record designing and implementing test cases at application and system levels.
Ability to thrive in uncertain early‑prototype stages.
Curiosity for new technology and innovation.
Demonstrated ability to use current AI tools to enhance efficiency and problem‑solving.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science) or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of industry experience in quality assurance.
Proficiency with QA tools and familiarity with common development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing, implementing, executing, and supporting stress and load testing on hardware devices, UI, and cloud.
Familiarity with agile test tools and methodologies.
Experience with release testing.
Experience testing IoT devices running Android.
Passion for identifying and classifying issues to improve quality.
Strong desire for creativity and solving cutting‑edge industry problems.
