Director of Sales and Marketing – Malta
Hotel & Resort : Upscale Lifestyle
Target : International Markets
Package: up to €7000 NET per month – (bonus and benefits)
Position based in Malta
Language: English fluency.
We are looking for an experienced and high-performing Sales & Marketing Director to join this upscale hotel in Malta.
We are searching for a candidate that is well versed in the development and implementation of strategy for upscale Hotel and Resort aimed at the international market. You will be passionate, creative, determined and goal-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and direct the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans
2. Develop, maintain and implement strategies/action plans to generate revenues for the hotel.
3. Helpkeepingthe company competitive and innovative.
4. Promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations, trade shows and other national and international activities
5. Manage, develop and maximizing the team potential by recruitment, development and training
6. Identify emerging markets shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
7. Design and seize all advertising and public relations opportunities.
8. Effective management of all budgets to insure optimum operating profit.
9. Reporting, communication and presentation of management information and KPI statistics to director and board level
10. Lead and support the growth of a small team on property.
Qualification Required & Experience
11. Successful track record as a Sales & Marketing Director (or similar), consistently meetings or exceeding targets within Hotels
12. Excellent experience and understanding of the upscale / lifestyle Hotel & Resort market is needed.
13. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
14. A driven and dedicated commitment to success without sacrificing integrity
15. Strong computer skills andexperiencedusing web-based marketing avenues and social media
16. Experience in creatingmarketingcampaign, marketing strategy
17. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
18. Strong business sense and industry expertise
19. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
20. Fluent English and another European Language
Must have the European National and / or Rights to work and live in Malta.
