Compliance Lead for Crypto-Assets (f/m/x)

As a member of our Compliance team you will play a key role in preventing financial crime, ensuring investor protection and detecting market abuse in crypto assets (MiCAR).
Your Mission at RDA
* Build and lead a team of compliance officers focusing on crypto assets and crypto services.
* Analyze regulatory requirements on anti‑money laundering & counter‑terrorist financing, investor protection, market conduct and financial sanctions relevant for crypto assets and crypto services.
* Provide practical guidance to senior management and business units on applicable RBI policies and regulatory requirements.
* Assess distributed ledger technology‑based products and services from a compliance perspective and conduct general risk analysis.
* Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and perform controls in monitoring systems to detect suspicious transactions.
* Design and conduct trainings on compliance requirements for crypto assets and crypto services.
* Cooperate with regulatory and law enforcement authorities (e.g. suspicious transaction and order reports, handling information requests).
* Design, develop and review compliance processes in line with evolving market standards, integrating them into compliance IT systems using the latest technologies.
* Report to senior management and closely cooperate with RBI Group Compliance.
Your Core Competencies
* University degree in law, economics or a comparable subject, or professional experience in the financial industry.
* 5+ years of experience in compliance, consultancy or with a financial market regulator.
* Experience leading teams or projects is an advantage.
* Deep knowledge of crypto regulations, in particular MiCAR and the Transfer of Funds Regulation, and experience communicating with regulators.
* Interest in financial markets and a detailed understanding of crypto assets and distributed ledger technology.
* Ability to think strategically and execute plans in complex and demanding situations.
* Process‑oriented, with experience using new technologies to develop and implement risk‑focused compliance programs.
* Curious and analytical, with experience designing processes that increase automation and efficiency.
* Collaborative, flexible and resilient team member with practical problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency in German and English; knowledge of CEE/SEE languages is an advantage.
