YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide strategic guidance to teams and departments on software compliance policies and approaches
2. Support the global alignment and standardization of software compliance strategies, principles, and practices across AVL
3. Drive the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of global compliance processes, policies, and guidelines within your area of responsibility
4. Coordinate, evaluate, and approve products, programs, and projects to ensure alignment with AVL’s software compliance standards, policies, and guidelines, in close collaboration with the Software Compliance team
YOUR PROFILE:
5. Completed education (University or University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, or comparable) with a focus on Secure Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Information Security or a related field
6. Minimum 3 years of experience in secure software development, ideally as a Security Engineer, Security Architect or Secure Software Developer
7. Excellent understanding of software security regulations (especially Cyber Resilience Act) and standards (ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443)
8. Strong knowledge in cybersecurity risk management and DevSecOps as well as experience with agile methodologies and change management
9. Strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and analytical thinking
10. Willingness to travel maximum 20% worldwide
11. Business fluent knowledge in English and German

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
