YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Advisory to management on software security policies and strategies
2. Contribution to harmonization and standardization of software security strategies, principles, and practices across AVL globally
3. Implementation, monitoring and improvement of global security processes, policies and guidelines in assigned areas of responsibility
4. Coordinate, review and approve products, programs, and projects to ensure that they are compliant with AVL’s software security standards, policies and guidelines in alignment with the Software Compliance team
YOUR PROFILE:
5. Completed education (University of Technology, University of Applied Sciences or comparable) with a focus on Secure Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Information Security or a related field
6. In-depth knowledge of relevant security regulations and standards Cyber Resilience Act, ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, OWASP)
7. At least 5 years of experience in secure software development and stakeholder communication
8. Proven track record in agile software development and DevSecOps environments
9. Hands-on experience as a Security Engineer, Security Architect, or Software Security Officer
10. Experience across at least two industries manufacturing, public, retail)
11. Strategic thinking, high sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills
12. Willingness to travel (maximum) 10% per year (worldwide)
13. Business fluent knowledge in English, Basic knowledge in German as an advantage

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
