About the Role
Avanade, a global leader in digital and cloud services, business solutions, and design-oriented applications, is seeking an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect. As a joint venture of Microsoft and Accenture, we support clients across Cloud, Modern Workplace, Business Applications, Data & AI, and Security, emphasizing our #PeopleFirst mentality.
Key Responsibilities
Define, design, and build Azure Landing Zones considering Infrastructure as Code.
Prepare and execute complex cloud migrations using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
Plan, manage, and support cloud infrastructure projects and lead international teams.
Collaborate on proposals, concepts, and architecture designs with network, governance, and security experts.
Engage with Cloud Community Practices and maintain active communication with Microsoft colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and other hyperscalers; relevant certifications.
Knowledge of Microsoft platforms (Active Directory, DNS, Hyper-V) and datacenter services (Storage, Networks, HCI).
Strong technical background with leadership skills; motivating, conflict resolution, team-oriented.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially during the bidding phase.
Proactive, structured, and analytical approach.
Willingness to travel (as agreed).
Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level).
