Our services include Performance Transformation Consulting, Operational Excellence training, Recruitment for Permanent & Interim roles, and Leadership development.For one of our big pharma clients, we are recruiting a Director of Operational Excellence, member of the site leadership team for Austria (Large site located near Graz).This global Pharma Manufacturing site experiencing a Transformation of the company with a heavy focus on performance breakthrough to produce more volumes at flat COGS.Role:As a member ofthe Site Leadership team,the Director of Operational Excellence is a major change leader and transformation guide – mentor for the SLTAdapting, coordinating and managing LEAN transformation booster projects, in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency of the organisation.Establishing a continuous improvement culture across the site.Coordinating and reporting on the efficiency at site level from planning to implementation· Continuously developing industrial performance and productivity throughout all departments.Partnering with and challenging senior leadership within the organization.· Participating in the development of the site strategic performance plan and annual priorities, and implement it.Candidate:German native (or fluent - professional level speaker) andExcellentprofessional EnglishPrevious experience of a minimum of 5 years as an Operational Excellence Director at site level or 5 years site operations leader with high level of hands on delivery of Opex.Lean expert with deep experience of Kaizen approach and Mini-Transformation methodologies (focused on simultaneous changes to processes, governance and people mindsets & capabilities)Able to relocate near the site toensurefull time presence.The ideal candidate :Expert background in applied LEAN principles and Change Management inlarge scaleindustrial production site in any of those regulated industries : Chemical / Pharma / Food & Beverages.Over 10 years of experience in applying lean transformation approach with demonstrated successes and learning through the journeyHands on coaching and mentoring of teams on the groundComes from companies with award winning Operational excellence deployment modelsJob rewards and compensation package are very attractive for Austria: for the right candidate, there is a level of negotation possible in line with director level ranges.
