Drive the strategic planning and continuous development of SOC and SIEM service offerings in line with security requirements and compliance standards Own the full lifecycle of SOC/SIEM services, including design, implementation, operations, and continuous optimization Lead technical initiatives and projects to enhance SOC and SIEM platforms, processes, and tooling Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to improve service efficiency and address evolving business and regulatory needs Define, monitor, and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Collaborate closely with internal competence centers and stakeholders across multiple CEE entities Act as a primary point of contact for internal customers regarding service status, security events, and improvements Prepare and present reports on service performance, KPIs, and security incidents Coordinate cross-functional international teams and external partners Act as Service Owner for the email server environment Support the development and scaling of delivery capabilities in Romania Manage services for more than 50 internal client entities Travel Requirements: Up to 25% travel, mainly within Central and Eastern Europe. Travel primarily to Austria, Poland, Romania, and Hungary University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or a comparable discipline Strong knowledge of SOC and SIEM systems and technologies; multi-tenant experience is an advantage Solid understanding of IT security, cyber defense, and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001) 5-10 years of experience in IT or security project leadership within complex environments Experience in technical coordination and stakeholder management Excellent communication and presentation skills in international contexts Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure Fluent English; German skills are a plus Our client is a direct IT subsidiary of a major international insurance group, responsible for IT services across the entire group, with headquarters in Vienna and entities in multiple Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries.
